How is money made online? Pretty much in the same way that it is made offline - money changes hands for goods or services. To run a business requires that you provide something that someone else needs, they pay for it, and you earn some money. It really is that straight-forward and that simple. Simple does not mean the same thing as easy, though; it will take some effort and hard work.
Products sold online can be just about anything, from hard goods that are then shipped to the buyer, to electronic goods such as e-books and software. Services sold online are usually related to the Internet and computers, such as web site design, web hosting, advertising, and other resources useful in running a business online. In addition, there are some information sources which sell online subscriptions.
So why is it that so many people come online and expect to somehow make boatloads of money with absolutely no effort? Where do they think the money comes from? There isn’t some kind of money faucet that just needs to be turned on to start pouring money into your bank account. Money needs to change hands for legitimate goods and services.
Now, you can sell your own products or someone else’s by acting as an affiliate. There are also plenty of service providers who will pay referral commissions to affiliates, or you can set up your service business. Bottom line - you need to educate yourself about the type of business you want to run, then treat it like a business and work hard at building the income you desire. There is no magic button to push.
